The Wayfarers Portal is a passion project by group of friends that want to be the first store in Orange County Dedicated to Retro Media and providing a fun and safe place for people to be themselves and experience TTRPGs like never before.
The Warfarers portal started out as an idea for a TTRPG club with multiple themed and immersive rooms where people to gather and eat/drink while playing games with their friends, attend events and gather with the community. We decided to start small by testing out a proof of concept for our business in a single room.
First and foremost we are a hobby shop, providing the community with the materials they need to run their TTRPG games. Quality play spaces and gaming materials are expensive and difficult to create. Unless you have a lot of disposable income and tons of free time, its very difficult to create a quality gaming space. We hope to bridge that gap by providing high quality gaming materials and an immersive space to play the game of your dreams.
Who are we?
Jeremy and Shaun
Jeremy and Shaun are the main owners and operators of the wayfarers portal, overseeing every aspect of the business. If you pop in the shop you are almost guaranteed to see either one of us!
Zoe, Amanda and Lauren
This group of talented artists are the true talent behind this project. Zoe painstakingly created all of our miniatures and Terrain. Amanda and Lauren spearheaded room design and prop making! We also sell merch from several local artists. Check them out on the team page!
Brady and the goblins
Our head game master Brady created the table, and is a crucial advisor to our TTRPG settings. The goblins in question are our amazingly talented game masters that bring the room to life with their story telling. Meet there here
